Supporting Families through Dementia

Mental Health & Wellbeing

Welcome to NeST - Next Steps Together

At NeST, we recognise that a dementia diagnosis brings significant change—but it doesn’t mean life stops. With the right environment, meaningful connections, and opportunities to engage, people can continue to live well, retain independence, and maintain a sense of purpose.

Based at the new Tumbly Hill Health & Wellbeing Hub in Kingsbridge, we provide a welcoming space where people living with dementia and their family caregivers can find companionship, share experiences, and take part in meaningful activities.

Enrichment: From Cognitive Stimulation Therapy to mindfulness and creative arts, our programmes are designed to spark joy, boost confidence, and encourage self-expression. Every session is an opportunity to rediscover purpose and enhance well-being.
Engagement: Connection is at the heart of everything we do. Whether it’s through peer support, intergenerational activities, or creative therapies, we bring people together to build meaningful relationships and reduce isolation.
Empowerment:  We believe in giving people the tools, support, and opportunities to take control of their lives. Whether it’s a person with dementia maintaining independence, a caregiver finding respite or a volunteer making a difference, we help people feel valued, capable, and strong.
Education: We challenge stigma and raise awareness about dementia. Through workshops, community talks, and shared experiences, we help people understand, prepare, and access support.

What We Offer

We offer practical help, emotional support, evidence-based cognitive stimulation therapies and engaging activities designed to enhance well-being, reduce isolation, and bring people together.

Whether you’re looking for specialist dementia programmes, professional counselling, guidance and support for caregivers, social connection, exercise classes, or opportunities to connect across generations, NeST is here for you.
