Wellbeing Support

At Next Steps Together, we're dedicated to enhancing the wellbeing of those living with dementia and their families. Our approach embraces a variety of therapeutic activities tailored to enrich both emotional and physical health.

From the gentle, stress-relieving techniques of Reflexology, Mindfulness or Sound Therapy, to the expressive freedom and cognitive stimulation offered by Art Therapy, and the grounding, nature-based benefits of Ecotherapy or Gardening.

These sessions are geared towards creating a supportive environment for those affected by dementia, covering topics such as:

  • Becoming a 'Dementia Friend'
  • Creating dementia friendly business environments
  • Effective Communication for Carers: Enhancing the ability to communicate needs clearly and effectively, building trust, and managing conflicts
  • Managing Grief for Carers: Providing support for dealing with grief, including understanding the grief process and finding ways to cope.
