Wellbeing Together
Wellbeing Together brings together a wide range of activities, support and opportunities for people across the community.
It’s often where people first connect with NeST - whether that’s through a group, a class, a conversation, or by coming along to see what’s happening.
You might be navigating a period of change, living with a long-term health condition, feeling isolated, or simply looking to meet others or try something new.
Our approach supports emotional, physical and social wellbeing in ways that feel accessible, relevant and part of everyday life. There’s no expectation to follow a set path, people take part in different ways, at their own pace, and can choose what feels right at the time.
This work brings together a mix of activities across the week, including movement-based sessions, creative and social groups, learning opportunities, community events, and one-to-one support such as counselling and complementary therapies.
Some people come regularly to the same activity, while others take part in different sessions depending on what they need at the time.
Activities sometimes sit alongside our dementia and SEND programmes. While this side-by-side service is still developing, there are times when family members or carers can take part in their own wellbeing activity while their loved one is supported nearby.
Where possible, we also offer opportunities to take part in shared activities, bringing people of all ages together in ways that feel comfortable and inclusive.
Our Wellbeing Together offer is designed to support people through a wide range of experiences and stages of life.
This might include support with grief, stress, anxiety or life changes, as well as opportunities to improve physical wellbeing, build confidence, learn new skills, or reconnect with a sense of purpose and identity.
You might come with something specific in mind, or simply because you would like to feel more connected and involved. Some people attend regularly, while others dip in and out depending on what they need at the time.
There are different ways to take part, from groups and activities to one-to-one support, and you are welcome to explore what feels right for you.
You can look through the options below, or get in touch if you would like to talk through what might suit you best.
