Tell Us What Matters

Our new community survey is now open, and we would really value your thoughts.

We want to understand more about local activities, support and opportunities to connect across Kingsbridge and the surrounding villages, towns and parishes: what helps, what gets in the way, what already works well and what may be missing.

The survey is for members of the public, families, professionals and local organisations. You do not need to know NeST or Tumbly Hill, or have taken part in any of our activities, to complete it.

Who do we want to hear from?

We would like to hear from as wide a range of people as possible.

We are especially keen to hear from people whose experiences can sometimes be overlooked, including people living with memory concerns or dementia, neurodivergent people and families, young people, people supporting someone else, and those who may find it harder to take part because of transport, cost, confidence, health or rural isolation.

There is also a section for professionals and organisations to share what they are seeing through their own work.

What are we asking about?

The survey looks at local activities, support and opportunities to connect.

We want to understand:

• what helps;
• what gets in the way;
• what already works well; and
• what may be missing.

There are no right or wrong answers. We want to understand people’s experiences as they are, including what works well as well as where things could be different.

Why are we asking now?

The findings will help inform NeST’s application to the National Lottery Community Fund and our plans for Tumbly Hill as a community asset.

They will also help us build a clearer picture of what people are experiencing locally, where needs and experiences may differ, and what could make it easier for people to feel connected, supported and included.

How long does it take?

The survey takes around 15 minutes, depending on which sections are relevant to you and how much you choose to write.

If you would prefer a paper copy, these are available from Tumbly Hill and the Kingsbridge Information Centre.

You can also arrange to come to Tumbly Hill and use one of our laptops with help from a member of the team.

£50 prize draw

If you are aged 18 or over, you can also choose to enter a £50 prize draw as a small thank you for your time.

Entering the prize draw is separate from any request to receive news or other information from NeST.
