Dementia Together
Dementia Together offers inclusive, community-based support for people living with dementia and those who care for them.
Our approach focuses on creating a welcoming, structured environment where people can stay active, build connections and continue to be themselves. Activities support cognitive, emotional and social wellbeing, while recognising each person’s strengths, preferences and experience.
Current sessions include Read & Reminisce, Memory NeST, Cognitive Stimulation Therapy (CST) and a Carer’s Catch-up, alongside a wider programme of accessible activities within Wellbeing Together.
This work is part of a wider, connected programme, where people can take part in different activities across the day or week.
While someone living with dementia is attending a session, family members or carers can access their own support at the same time. This might include peer support, counselling, wellbeing sessions or simply time to rest and recharge within the building.
By bringing these elements together in one place, we reduce pressure on families and create a more flexible, supportive environment. It also allows people to build relationships across age groups and experiences, helping to maintain connection and a sense of belonging.
Our dementia support is continuing to develop, building towards a more structured Meeting Centre model over time.
You are welcome to explore what feels right for you or your family, whether that is joining a group, attending a session or simply finding out more. We understand that taking the first step can feel difficult, and we take time to ensure that people feel comfortable, supported and able to take part at their own pace.
You can explore our current sessions below, or get in touch if you would like to talk through what might be a good fit.
