SEND Together
SEND Together brings together support for children, young people and adults with special educational needs, learning disabilities and neurodivergent differences, as well as their families.
Our approach is inclusive and community-based, offering a range of activities, groups and support that people can access in ways that suit their needs, interests and stage of life. This includes peer support, wellbeing workshops, intergenerational activities and opportunities for shared learning.
We recognise that no two people are the same. Activities are shaped by experience and feedback, with a focus on creating spaces where people feel comfortable, understood and able to take part in their own way.
This work is not separate from the rest of what we offer. It is part of a wider, connected programme where people can take part in different activities across the day or week.
This means that children, young people and adults can take part in sessions that suit them, while parents or carers access their own support at the same time. This might include peer support groups, counselling, wellbeing sessions or time to rest and recharge within the building.
By bringing these elements together in one place, we reduce pressure on families and create a more supportive, flexible environment. This approach also allows people to build connections across age groups and experiences, helping to reduce isolation and strengthen relationships.
Our SEND work is continuing to grow, with new groups and activities developing in response to the needs of local families.
You are welcome to explore what feels right for you or your family, whether that is joining a group, attending a workshop or simply finding out more. We understand that starting something new can feel daunting, and we take time to ensure that people feel comfortable, supported and able to take part at their own pace.
You can explore our current groups and activities below, or get in touch if you would like to talk through what might be a good fit.
